Membership and Election Notice
Society Membership/Voting Privileges - $5.00
(Harrison County Residents Only - 18 years and older)
The Annual Election of Directors shall be by ballot and conducted by 3 judges & 2 clerks who are members of the society appointed by the President on Saturday during the week of the annual fair, between the hours of 2-7 p.m. at the Harrison County Fairgrounds Fair Office.
Members of the Society shall declare their candidacy for the office of Director by filing with the Society secretary a petition signed by ten or more current members of the Society, who are residents of Harrison County, by 9:00 p.m. the Friday before the election is held.
Petition Deadline: Friday of the Fair at 9 p.m.
Election of Directors: Saturday of the fair - 2 -7 p.m. at
the fair office.
Media Credentials
Anyone wishing to interview, video tape, or photograph for distributed media must register at the Secretary’s Office and obtain a media pass that must be displayed on them. The Senior Fairboard reserves the right to refuse any and all requests.
